Wedderspoon 100% Raw Organic Dandelion Honey

I saw this Wedderspoon 100% Raw Organic Dandelion Honey a while ago and thought it sounded good. Florals are some of my favorite flavors, who knows why. BUT THIS. This surpassed all of my expectations! It's worth it. The flavor blooms on your tongue ---it's perfect on warm bread with butter. Perfection in a golden form! In some of the trails that I hike and mountain bike, there are huge branches of dandelions and luckily most people are not familiar with dandelion so I end up with happy, healthy, wild greens when working out in the mountains but that happens only spring time since when rains stop and heat moves in, dandelions dry out till next season of rain. My store bought honey was good but until I tried the Tropic Bee did I realize the difference was in the strength of the honey taste. It's mild as far as not having that after taste of foods that are stronger in intensity from being a pure source of whatever it was taken from.

Great Lakes Select Honey, Clover does definitely have a clover honey taste to it, however, so if you dont like that flavor, you will not be happy with this. I don't find it as spicy as minimally processed local or the fantastic fireweed honey we get from others, but it's a great all-around honey that wont impart too much of it's own flavor into what you put it into. It was fantastic in tea!

The quality of this Wedderspoon Raw Manuka Honey Active 12+ product is excellent and tastes very good. It goes great in tea for a strong floral flavor. But its a bit pricey. I wouldn't think that I'd want something bigger than a 5-lb tub, but man we went through this stuff fast. So delicious. Also used it as an alternative to white sugar in baking and it worked pretty well. It is unheated, hardly unprocessed and pure, possibly kosher (were bees circumcised?). But definitely raw.
