This 100% RAW UMF 16+ ACTIVE MANUKA HONEY by Haddrell's of Cambridge is not like you are used to getting in the grocery store. It is thick and opaque. The taste is a little different. It seems milder in my coffee. I haven't used it on wounds, but would if I had one. Absolutely Unique Honey. Excellent taste ! Very Unique Texture. Has Extraordinary Medicinal Benefits. Can Be Taken Alone Or With Other Foods.

I did a little research and found out that one of the ways manuka honey is graded/rated is by the UMF (unique manuka factor). The higher the UMF, the better the health benefits. Now, to be able to place a UMF rating on a bottle of manuka honey, the company must be a licensee of the UMF Honey Association.

I had tried a +25 a few weeks before and decided to follow up with the +16 as the +25 is not always available. It has a great taste. I would be more pleased if it were not so firm. The +25 had a perfect texture. This 16+ ACTIVE MANUKA HONEY by Haddrell's of Cambridge you dig in and come up with a glob. (like some peanut butters, real stiff) It's OK though, a large spoon full of medicine which tastes great.

I had a sore throat forming, took a massive teaspoon of this stuff and it killed it. I could literally feel the soreness dissolve almost instantly. The Manuka has been a miracle and well worth the price for it's intended use. If you want a sweetner in your tea, buy the cheap stuff. If you want to cure a nasty stomach problem for you or your pets, try Manuka. Get at least a +16.
