Heaven on Earth Ambrosia Pure Honey From Colorado's Western Slope

This Ambrosia Pure Honey From Colorado's Western Slope is an amazingly tasty honey at any price. I tasted it in CO and brought some home. Grateful I can get it thru Amazon. Much better quality than most other honey.  We love the taste of this honey and the fact it doesn't get too thick after awhile. It is so easy to order online and at a very reasonable price for this quality.

This honey is heaven in a bottle. Supermarket honey is no match for the smooth pure taste of this stuff.
It even makes a huge difference in the bread that I bake with honey. We order four bottles at a time so we won't run out. Our son found this Ambrosia Pure Honey when he was in Colorado and gave us a bottle of it knowing that we use honey every day in some way or other. Great gift!
  • Pack of four, 23-ounce each(total of 94-ounce)
  • 100% pure Colorado grown
  • Raw and unfiltered honey
  • Trans fat, fat and cholesterol free
It's hard for me to find raw, unfiltered honey that is 100% a product of the US in local markets at anything close to what I'd consider a reasonable price (and that's if and when they have such honey in stock at all). I've tried a different brand of raw, unfiltered, produced in the US honey from Amazon, and while I like it and may buy it again in the future, I like the Ambrosia Honey better.

I operated natural food stores in CA in the late 70's and early 80's, and the smell and taste of Ambrosia Honey reminds me of some of the good, pure honey we sold in bulk back then. The flavor is a mild sort of wildflower flavor - but different - more mellow. It's sweet, but not overly so and it's not as thick as many raw wildflower honeys can be.

Earth Ambrosia Pure Honey From Colorado's Western Slope color is a nice rich amber. The manufacturers might want to consider redoing their label as the information they provide is confusing: Raw & Unfiltered verses the fine print stating that it is heated/warmed & filtered.

I love this honey. Found it at our local Walmart and since we've moved far away from that store, I was very happy to find it stocked at the Walmart close to our new location as well. There are no words to describe what this honey tastes like other than "heavenly". You can taste the different fields of flowers that the bees collected pollen from. So exquisite! Not sure what the price of this is at Amazon, since its currently listed as unavailable but the big "W" has the 16 oz bottles for about $4.50 and the 23 oz bottles for about $5.50. Even if it was twice that much, I would still buy it because no other brand that I have tried - and I've even tried quite a few farmers market honeys - tastes as amazing as this does. Worth every penny!
